How to use

  1. Type your text

    Write up to 4 lines, pick a font, weight, spacing and letter depth — the same fonts as in 2D Text, or your own.

  2. Pick a color

    A preset or your own color — the front and sides get the same color.

  3. Add an outline

    Thickness, depth, color and how far the letters stick out of the outline — or turn it off.

  4. Download

    Pick the size in UEFN, download the FBX and drag it into the Content Browser.

Frequently asked questions

Drag the FBX file into the Content Browser. The file has two models — the text and the outline, each with one material you can swap for your own. Place both at the same point and they line up.

Look at «Load on the game» before downloading: Light — you can place many, Medium — fine for titles and a few signs. Longer text and complex fonts make the model heavier; without the outline it is lighter.
